I will buy PS4 as It is cheaper and I already own PS3 and never had any issue with it. I could have bought Xboner but I don't like supporting the company which is so anti-consumer lately and arrogant. I paid $15 for Win 8 and no more money to MS from my side beside when purchasing new computer as I am forced to pay it.

before I saw the check that said $6521, I didn't believe that my friends brother was like they say actualie earning money in their spare time at their laptop.. there moms best frend had bean doing this for under 21 months and as of now paid for the dept on their house and got a great Cadillac. this is where I went, EXIT35.COM

btw MOST OF THE PS4 GAMES ARE INDIE GAMES! like Mercenary Kings, Oddworld: New n' Tasty and so on! can't compare to the far superior XBOX ONE LINEUP! PS4 just sucks ass!

It's hard not to argue that the XONE clearly has the most promising lineup of new IP and exclusives compared to PS4. Don't get me wrong, Second Son looks like it will be great, but outside of that it's just Killzone which to me is no different than Halo 5 for all intents and purposes, and then a slew of smaller indie games which I'm sure are great to pass the time but certainly not what I'm buying next-gen for.

I want to be wowed. I want the big kickass bells and whistles huge cinematic AAA title and I want new and exciting experiences. The fact is that Sony just doesn't have a lot of exclusive titles so far, while the XONE actually does and the rest of the "biggies" like MGSV, FFXV, AC4, Cod Ghosts, etc. are multiplat anyway. I don't get the logic behind "xbox done" when they are showing up to the table with a better lineup of the stuff that really matters: games.

XONE is simply delivering a better looking lineup of exclusive games and that is what I'm buying a console for in the end, to play games like Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Below, D4, Deadrising 3, Forza 5, RYSE, LocoCycle, Killer Instinct, Halo 5, Fantasia, Project Spark. The fact is you can't play ANY of those titles on PS4.

If you honestly judge these two consoles based on games alone the XONE looks to have more substantial games, whereas PS4 has a larger quantity of smaller indie titles of the type that I could play on my iPad or PC anyway and all those particular indie games are digital download so the used game policy argument is moot at that point. That's not a troll, just facts based on this list of exclusives versus multiplat.

I'm not saying indie games are any less important, I'm just not as convinced to buy a console for a bunch of indie game exclusives versus the quality of the new IP exclusives the XONE is currently offering.

I will probably end up with both consoles over time (just as with this past generation) but for launch I've got to go with XONE hands down based on games alone.

WEAK?!

Watch Dogs, Ryse, ACIV, Fifa 14, Titanfall , Infamous, Dead Rising, Forza, Destiny, The Crew, BF 4, Killzone...

It's the first time I've seen such a strong and aggressive line-up on a new console!

The only game for PS4 that would get me to buy one is the Oddworld game, my Son is seriously eyeing an Xbox One, we might end up with both, like we ended up with now, not that the 360 is getting a whole lot of use ATM

PC, non nextgen?

Really? Oh come on, these consoles are on par with computers from 5-6 years ago or more.

Huh? Uh, no. Six years ago was Core 2 Duo, and 512MB, 90nm GPU video cards like the 8000-series Nvidia.

These two new consoles have 8GB of RAM (GDDR5 on the PS4) and an 8-core CPU, and a GPU that's basically a Radeon 7870.

Consoles can be properly optimized, so in that way, they are better. Otherwise, yes they get crushed after about 6 months, when the next hardware cycle comes.

The only games I'm looking forward to on there will be available for current gen consoles, with the exception of TC:The Division, but one game can't justify me to purchase one of the next gen consolse for at least a year, mor like two

There are rumors that TC:The Division might be expanding to PC.

Hahaha, last couple of days, the XBO best defense of most fanboys was its amount of exclusives. That it had sooo much more exclusives then PS4..

Uncharted is Sony exclusive, or does it not count since there is a Vita version?
Then Minecraft shouldnt be a XBO exclusive either, its also on windows!

Also Twisted Metal series is Playstation exclusive, next release surely will be PS4.

learn to count.

Sony confirmed they would have 20 exclusives first year. Microsoft said they had 15. Sony has several months to confirm exclusives. I'd give it some time.

Rumors are left for dead is making a comeback if so that would be an Xbox exclusive.

Left 4 Dead is a Valve game. If anything it'll be a steam exclusive (Windows, Mac, and Linux like all Valve games now), and if not, it will definitely be multiplat, like Portal 2. They might even support Steam/PSN cross play like with Portal 2, especially since it's mostly co-op.

What about World of Tanks?? I'd say that was a pretty massive game coming to Xbox

Personally I thought that and project spark to be two of the worst games I'd seen coming to next gen.....that, and the game being made by that PS4 producer.

Is Grand Theft Auto 5 not coming to either console? Obviously it's coming for the old systems, but it seems like a no brainer to be released on the new ones as well.

GT6 will be released for PS3. 2 GT's per generation.

Also they fixed adaptive tesselasation no more squigly edges on curved lines and much, much better surroundings. Oh and much improved physics engine, while GT5's physics engine was already far superior than forza's.

Minecraft... oh wow, that's really gonna stresstest the hardware of the xb1 to breaking point...

Minecraft with some plugins, is a hardware intensive game even for a i7 64bits. But i doubt that the minecraft for the xbox one will bring those plugins.

Hold the phone. Star Wars Battlefront is coming back?! Awesome! Also, I see a lot of asterisks on the PS4 exclusive list. Looking forward to The Witcher 3 on Xbox for the Smartglass inventory feature alone.

Ok, I'll admit it, I play it too, but the choreography of Dance Centrel is way better than Just Dance. I guess this is due to the fact that the same moves of Just Dance are the same on all platform, and two of those platforms uses the controller to detect movements.

I don't really see any exclusives there on either side that are a must-play for me. There are a few I'm interested in, but not enough to make me want to buy either console immediately...

Dead Rising 3, I still haven't even played 2 yet. Forza 5, not gonna miss; Forza 4 was pretty meh in my eyes. Halo 5, still haven't played 4. Killer Instinct, looks too much like Street Fighter for my liking. LocoCycle, it's still thankfully on the 360 as well.

DriveClub seems like Forza Horizon to me, but at least I'd get it free thanks to PS+; the only matter is whether I'll be able to "purchase" it without needing a PS4 as soon it goes up. Gran Turismo 6 (presuming it is 6), I'd just get the PS3 version, and I'm still not fully sold on that, anyway. Infamous: Second Son, still haven't played the first two (or the PSN game they did as well). Killzone: Shadow Fall, still need to play through 3. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is coming to Steam too.

Oh BTW, The Dark Sorcerer is just a tech demo.

I preordered both from GameStop yesterday when they opened. I think both have their advantages and disadvantages, but both will harbor unique opportunities for players and casual gamers everywhere. I think once people can stop critiquing and amplifying all the negatives about one system or another, they can draw upon the positives and see that each system is fairly balanced in each regard.

Talking personally, these list of exclusives have me very excited! Not to mention the inclusion of Nintendo's titles coming out for the Wii U (i.e. Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D World, etc.).

That is not confirmed actually. The XBOX 360 release was not confirmed until only a few days ago, and I have a feeling that as we get closer to the launch of XBOX One, we will see a similar announcement in regards to the availability of the new console.

The only games that really stood out to me were Tom Clancy's The Division, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Forza Motorsport 5, Battlefield 4, Mirror's Edge, and Destiny.

The launch lineup for both consoles doesn't look great, to be honest. I liked what I saw of Spark and Killzone, but other than that nothing really jumped out as a must have.

Ryse looked amazing, but it's a highly scripted QTE. And I wish we got to see actual gameplay for The Order.

QTE means something like Resident Evil to me. It's no where near that bad. That being said the game still looks pretty rough.

Zedox said,
Ryse actually isn't a QTE...it's more like batman fighting style.
The execution mode is a QTE and I read that you can't fail it. So no matter what you do, you'll always execute the enemy. You get points and perks for pressing the buttons very quickly and that's it. It seems like they're making it more casual than expected.

It looks great, graphically. I was impressed with the number of soldiers on-screen at once.

I was pretty disappointed by that fact. I hate quick-time events -- they take all the joy out of gaming.

Honestly, I was looking forward to an implementation similar to what it previously showed at E3 with Kinect.

I don't think it's so bad since you don't have to use them if you don't want to, they're just a flashy bonus option for you.

It might be. I think MS is still talking to Square-Enix about it. MS has a very tight XBL policy that they want to enforce and SE wants to connect all the platforms into one online world. FF11 was released on the 360 though, so it's probably only a matter of time.

At this stage it's only confirmed for Xbox One out of the two. Same with Deep Down, which at this stage is only PS4 but might change

Seeing as the game is called "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition", I'd say it's fairly certain that will be an Xbox One exclusive

Thanks for this list.. I have both systems pre-ordered.. not sure if I will keep the xbox though.. don't like what I am hearing

Is it? Halo 4 has the worst active community out of any Halo game. I think people either didnt like the direction 343 went with or are starting to get sick of Microsoft trotting the game out at every opportunity.

TBH neither console has that many exclusives to get that excited about. More of the same from both companies.

Halo 4 wasn't very good is the problem. Not to mention that they f'ed up the controls.

Halo 5 will have to absolutely mindblowing to save the franchise.

Few good games? LOL

Ehh... I really enjoyed Halo 4's single player campaign but I have no interest to play online. I think most of the 'hardcore' Halo players from previous iterations have moved on (tired of the series, too old to game continuously, etc) while new players may not find a "4th" installment to be anything to go crazy about. I have no doubt that Halo 5 will be BIG and probably very good overall but how it will be received by the fans remains to be seen..

Same, I don't think they did anything bad to the Multiplayer. I think it's main problem is that it hasn't really changed. Playing the Halo 4 Multiplayer feels just like the Halo 3 Multiplayer but with new maps and guns. I've already played the hell out of it, give it a refresh.

I don't see dark souls 2 on that list and i believe that will be both consoles, having said that, Elder scroll games were always best played single player, can't believe they are going to mmofy this game. Look at what happened to that star wars game they thought they could make an mmo out of, lol.

After Halo 3 I haven't really wanted to play a Halo game... I'm halfway through Reach but don't know if I'll ever feel like finishing it.

I don't play multiplayer Halo, but the campaign was freaking amazing. It was one of the best emotional stories I've seen in a video game. Cortana's story is one of the best.

Really loved Halo 4. Don't know what's the fuss all about. If they try some innovation, it's bad. If they stay the same is bad too because it feels very straightforward and old.

It's impossible to please all the people.
