Not much. Mesh is technically a cloud platform with the Sync app being part of it. Wile Live sync is part of the Win Live Essentials package. They love redundancies.

Stupid question . I don't have a mac but i am curious. Does the live mesh for mac osx include the remote desktop feature like the windows version does?

No. The remote desktop is supported through Active-X. I can't get it to work on my Mac or in the Firefox browser in Windows, only MSIE. The other stuff works from Firefox or Safari, but not the LiveDesktop.

Why? You can just right-click on a file or folder and assign it to be uploaded to Live Mesh Desktop. I have been using Live Mesh for months now to keep my laptop and work desktop synched with the info I use daily, it is a great little app!
