US citizens may not be able to buy the special The Dark Night Rises edition of the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone; that's apparently reserved for UK residents. However, people who have purchased or will buy the Lumia 710 from T-Mobile will be able to get some cool Batman extras for free.
Nokia's US website reveals that people who buy a Lumia 710 from T-Mobile starting Wednesday, June 20th through July 31st will be able to get a free cover with The Dark Knight Rises logo on the back. The covers will come in cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white.
If you already own a Lumia 710, don't fret. You can still get a free Dark Knight Rises cover for your Windows Phone device sent to you. You can go to the Nokiacolorcover.com website starting Wednesday for this offer and can get the Dark Knight Rises cover even if you have already received a free color cover for the phone in the past.
You can already go ahead and download The Dark Knight Rises app for Windows Phone now for Lumia devices. It has info and exclusive wallpapers from the movie. It also has the "Gotham City Check In" feature. Nokia says:
Connect your Foursquare account and choose sides: Batman or Bane. Then “take over” pre-determined locations to earn points toward exclusive The Dark Knight Rises content and rewards.
