I used to use Acronis, but went with Macrium a couple of years ago. Acronis was having issues and didn't like the fact that if I didn't have recovery media, I was screwed. Macrium's biggest plus was the PE component. Acronis gotten better since? Still need recovery media? If it's a yes then a no I'm interested!

I tried this last week on a new build, didn't recognise any hard drive (2 x 500gb) due to them being gpt.
Acronis came to the rescue. I suppose you get what you pay for.
