I agree with warwagon on a realtime display of detections when scanning, that said however this app is simply amazing, and well worth the registration fee.

They still need to let you see whats been detected as it detects it instead of having wait til the end of the scan only to find the 1 piece of malware it detected was 1 mywebsearch reg key.

I've almost forgot about this and Spybot. Is there a reason I should still be using these scans over just having MS SE constantly on?

Better off to do it manually, say once a week or run the schedules differently. MSE is fantastic but Malwarebytes can and will detect anything that MSE misses. MSE failed to detect some backdoor trojan on my old 7 system a few weeks back, screwing around with my internet browsing and Malwarebytes found it. They compliment each other quite well.

I agree with Billus; you should have a copy of this available. I have a couple of neighbors who get nasty stuff on their computers even with MSE installed. In fact, the stuff they "acquired" was no bad, I couldn't even open task manager to kill the processes. I had to restart their PCs in safe mode to even run Malwarebytes.

This is an excellent program for killing malware and fast!
