Well this certainly IS an alpha release. While I like the direction they are going and it did seem to be a little peppier, it was highly unstable and quite buggy. This really needs to be polished. I'll be back when it goes beta. Oh, and nice switch to Tango. Will everything be Tango soon? hehe

Just a quick word of caution: if it happens to crash while in fullscreen mode, you'll lose your taskbar and will have to kill / restart explorer to get it back.

Did you read the text? Didn't think so, and it's only one line above the Download link.

I obviously did read that line...as I stressed the word 'is' meaning I agree that it IS (notice the stressing of the word again) extremely an alpha release. But thanks for taking the time to comment on the actual program in question.

Is a nice program for HDTV

WatchHDTV is one of the best TV viewers out there.

I wish the author would communicate more with people. He seems to ignore all attempts at contacting him.

He said his Vista version was supposed to be released almost a month ago now.

With so many crappy "Media Center" CLONES out there, something simple like WatchHDTV for you know, WATCHING HDTV is nice.

I don't need dozens of media center "features" that I get in other programs. I just want a program to watch TV.

Wow. You have Vista with Windows Media Centre, amazing stuff. That MUST instantly mean it's totally unnecessary and useless software to everyone else because YOU don't need it.

Really, why do you bother to comment if you don't need it? Just to let everyone know you have the almighty Windows Vista?

lol.

To other, non self-centered people that don't have Windows Media Centre and are looking for a free/open-source alternative, this is a great application.
