SOFTWARE GIANT Microsoft has made the Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition for 64 bit Extended Systems – what a mouthful – available as a beta. Theis comes in both standard and enterprise editions, and is available to people with Opteron hardware via a customer preview programme at the Microsoft site.
Thus far, Microsoft is projecting it will be available in the second half of this year.
