Microsoft tweaks Games Studio hierarchy

Shane Kim's hold on the GM reins now permanent, Peter Moore bumped up to global head of content and marketing, and Mitchell Koch gets global sales lead assignment.

Shane Kim, who had been acting General Manager of Microsoft Games Studios since the departure of Ed Fries, has been named permanent General Manger. The position places Kim at the head of Microsoft Game Studios. He will continue to be responsible for content and development management for games on Xbox, Xbox Live and for the PC, as well as having oversight responsibilities with the various development teams that are under the auspices of Microsoft Game Studios.
