Microsoft's new Office touch apps for Windows demoed on video

Microsoft announced today that they will be releasing touch apps for Office on Windows and thanks to some b-roll clips, we can see these new apps in action. The video shows off PowerPoint and Word running on a Surface Pro 3.

We posted the clip below so that you can get a better look at these new apps which will be released next year.

Aside from what we have seen in on other platforms, there isn't too much new here but this is the first time we have seen the new apps on Windows being used. While we do not have a release date for these apps, they do seem relatively stable and polished in this short demonstration video.

Let us know in the comments below what you think about these apps and if you think releasing them on Android ahead of Windows is a good move or a bad idea.
