Microsoft's "Reinvented Around You" video shows the branding strategy for WP8

A new video that was shown off during the Windows Phone 8 keynote has been put up on YouTube that describes the company's branding strategy that it will use to sell Windows Phone 8 to consumers. The idea is all about making your phone personal to you and your needs, rather than making a phone and OS that are a blanket statement for everyone.

The idea is that you can take what Microsoft has created, match it up with a phone that fits your needs and then customize the OS so that it aligns exactly to your daily routine. The branding is a clever step for Microsoft as all other vendors highlight how to use their devices but Microsoft is highlighting how your device can be tailored to you.

Take a look at the video above and let us know if you agree or disagree with Microsoft's branding strategy. The video is certainly catchy and we will be curious to see if this video ends up being a WP8 advertisement as it is exactly 1:00 in length.

I think the video is great and is probably the first MS video since the Windows Mobile era start your windows phone which I thought was good enough to run commercially. Hope to see it around.

It is curious though that the old MS logo pops up at the end after the WP logo.

That is the "new" Microsoft logo. Everything is squared that is the "new" image

"We didnt make one for all of us, we made one for each of us"

That is probably one of the best lines ive heard in a smartphone comercial.

ˆˆ I wonder where all those MSheeps come from?
Are you getting any money for all of those licks? Do you get any money from technical support? Do you sell those phones? Do you have a Windows Store branch? Are you a MS shareholder?

I want to know why all this s***. Get a life.

I'm not constantly apple-polishing every s*** that tech companies do. I do have a life. You should review yours, though.
