Unless I got a pre-packaged .zip file with all the skinning already done to it, it just got way too complicated. There's no way I would want to spend so much time customizing it. That and Fubar2000....same deal there...just to play music....my media player sits in the tray anyway while I play music.

Miranda IM is by far the most superior messenger client, if you can't figure out how to use it then you don't deserve to use it.

Ok, I won't use it then!

I bet the majority of people who sue this crappy app are skinners or hardcore desktop customers because customization is the only aspect this app excels at.

Just gave up on Miranda after a couple years. They still have not fixed the stupid file transfer window stealing focus and knocking out of a fullscreen game e.g. Plus their people are jerks in their support forums. Avoid this unless love challenges. LOL

I've never had this happen, file transfers and messages simply make my contact list have a flashing icon next to the contact's name and won't open a window until I click it.

yeah a lot of trial and error with miranda, and then some don't work with certain plug-ins etc but its light on resources unlike digsby (which I use)

That is so true. I remember trying to skin Miranda back in '05/'06 and it was tough. I gave up about half-way through. Pass.
