More evidence of Surface Pro 3 emerges, could be released alongside Surface Mini

Microsoft is holding an event later this month to reportedly announce the Surface Mini, and rumors are swirling about what else we could see at the event. A report suggested that a Surface Pro 3 may be unveiled with next-gen Intel CPUs and it seems that Microsoft may have just confirmed that.

In a support document posted to the Microsoft website, Microsoft references the "Surface Pro 3 camera" in relation to the latest Windows 8.1 update. Of course, this could simply be a typo but given the recent report it would seem a new Surface Pro is on the way.

Microsoft has been committed to updating the Surface Pro since its release, releasing the Surface Pro 2 in October 2013. They then upgraded the clock speed in January 2014 with various firmware updates through its life cycle.

With a little under a week to go, we will have all the answers about what Microsoft has up its sleeve in the near future.

[Update] Microsoft told Winbeta that the reference was a typo. So, nothing to see here unless they are trying to cover their tracks.
