HTC HD7 for T-Mobile might get me to switch. And that Dell phone is very very nice. They have a winner on their hands with that phone.

A lot of people have been saying Microsoft is a bit late on this. Yea they are late in the game, but I think it will pay off. I doubt they would have been able to pull this off when the iPhone first came out. There not late, but rather revolutionizing the mobile phone market again like Apple and Google did a few years back. I think the ui for the iPhone and Droid is getting old personally, the big question is that can they pull people away from that UI

MS are silly not to put this on a tablet

Really. I expect to see it happen though. Give it till the end of next year.

The dell and Samsung Omnia 7 have my votes. HTC Pro is about their only design I like, shame its not coming till 2011

Windows Phone 7 UI is so damn ugly! Let's hope it's functional at least... Oh wait, if I remember correctly there's not even a copy/paste function in wp7!?

Coming early 2011

I've been due an upgrade for about a month and really need to get rid of this heap of crap tocco ultra. I'm just twiddling my thumbs until I get to see a winpho in action.

This is gonna sound stupid but, what time is this going to start in EST?

depends where you are, EST is GMT +5 hours I think.

Yep I stand corrected

Well, then i am going to correct you all.

While EST is GMT-5, EDT is GMT-4.

Therefore this even will start at 9am for those who live in the eastern part of North America.

I'm out of contract at the moment with a HTC Desire. If something good gets announced, I might re-enter my contract and pick a WP7 device up...

OK, whilst I'm intrigued....I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who thinks the WP7 UI looks old, outdated and basically plain and ordinary.

Im on the same boat with you, im still holding out that it will be a great OS but its for sure 'different'.

Outdated? Given that the competition seem to rely upon woodpanelling for their UIs, I'd hardly call Metro outdated
