Nice one guys Hopefully the new law will pass but we all know the MPAA and RIAA have strong influence in this area

Good stuff as usual. I gotta agree with LOC on the DMCA stuff and them sheep (might not have been the wisest wording though hehe). Consumers don't have to wonder that large corporations and lobbies keep trying to milk them if they just take it instead of writing to their people in congress or whatever. The big wigs can't always smell what the little people want or do not want.

You have to realize that we want a 40 minute show and each topic requires at least 10 minutes for a decent discussion. What I try to do, as the host, is always steer the basic story into something larger, as we did this week with the Opera stuff and expanding that into software as a whole.

Good point. Are all episodes in the 40 minute range?

Unfortunately, for me, they tend to run a bit longer lol. However, that said, when setting up the show, I do try to plan for 40 minutes. For instance, we cut a topic midshow this week (the power of IM while speaking) because it wasn't all that important and would have sent us way over.

I laughed when you said about wanting to listen more at the end of the cast lol, cos that kind of applies to me lol (its either listening to my music collection which isn't that big, or listening to a few podcasts, and since I get bored pretty easily, the podcasts are the better option lol.

Another good show though guys, Thanks. Gives me something to listen to when I'm bored as hell anyway lol.

Btw, I think its nice to have the different accents in there aswell lol, so thanks Rob for representing the UK lol.

it says bittorrent entertainment network launch... im assuming thats free right... but whats the big deal with rogers throttles bittorrent connections in all areas? what if im using my bittorrent for good instead of bad? i can't connect or do anything now that rogers blocked all p2p connections.

Bittorrent was meant for good not bad.. yet rogers throttles all the connections for all p2p.

they just dont wanna handle the bandwidth that comes along with bittorrent. bittorrent was made for huge files and some isp's are cheap and dont wanna handle that kind of load/upgrade

The BET is "free" in so much that anyone can use it, but you still have to rent/buy everything, including game demos which are just trials.
