Still using Nero 6 on my XP machines.

When I noticed this on the front page, I said YES!!
Had heard of it before, but never tried it.

Not going to now either!!

One of the worst bloatware programs ever written.

The last version of this I tried *DID NOT SUPPORT MULTISESSION*, so beware and check it out first before moving on. That last version was a very, very basic burning app, basically useless for its size, where other free ones like 'BurnAware' free did 10x more with less headache.

Haha, just for giggles I tried this a while back when I first heard about it.... It is complete ****. HUGE, for the stripped down nature, and far less functional than CDBurnerXP, which has an installer around 3mb. Nero is a funny bunch of folk.

55MB for "data burning and disc copying features for CDs and DVDs" when infrarecorder x86/x64 is about 3.75MB and against that description does the same

Genuine question: Can anyone give any clues as to why this is worth 14.6 times the download bandwidth and presumably up to 100MB more disk space than infrarecorder?

Nero obviously aren't bothered about giving product details.

Have to add another comment, editing my previous one timed out :P I installed it, it's just Nero Essentials (that came preinstalled on most new PCs) and it's ~130Mb installed and somehow they managed to cripple it more! all is does is copy and burn data CDs and full of advertising for the paid version...avoid!
