New Nexus 7 now on shelves in the UK and Europe starting at £199.99

The wait is over for folks in the UK who want to get their hands on the new Nexus 7. The tablet, which was launched just over a month ago, can now be purchased for £199.99 (16GB Wi-fi only version) and £239.99 for the 32GB version.

There's also an LTE version priced at £319.99 on offer at O2 for those needing the cellular availability add in, but that won't be available for a couple of weeks. The N7 can also be picked up in Germany, France, Spain, and Japan from today.

The updated N7 features a 7-inch HD screen with a 1920 x 1200 resolution (323 ppi), the device also packs an Adreno 320 GPU, a 1.5GHz snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel rear-facing  and 1.2-megapixel front-facing cameras. In the U.S. Best Buy is currently taking orders for it with the 16 GB and 32 GB SKUS costing $229 and $269 respectively.

Google also announced back in July that the Nexus 7 accounts for an impressive 10 percent in sales for the company, so we expect these to go flying off shelves henceforth.

Bought mine this morning (32GB wifi), I sold my "old" Nexus 7 to my sister. Just wish there was an easy way to transfer application settings.

There is. I was on T-Mobile, switched to Verizon a couple years ago. Took my rooted Titanium Backup folder from my T-Mobile devices, placed it on my rooted Verizon device, and restored all my apps including settings.

I know Titanium Backup but since I didn't root any device I didn't think about it. I'm becoming too lazy, I should tweak my devices to keep my old form

I seem to remember reading this tablet had GPS issues. Did they fix this? I might hold out until that is fixed.

Have had mine for about a month. No issues here. The problem was multi touch and they released a patch for that like a week or so ago.

Few days late there neobond, it went on sale on Wednesday .

I noticed that as well (difficult to miss, it was the hero item), however, to be fair, the main news from the Play Store on that day was the knockdown prices for the Nexus 4.

Caught him out xD! Proves he is human!

Not a proof at all. Robots can purposely do random mistakes to look like human.
