OneNote adds support for iOS 9, with new features including iPad Pro and Pencil support

Microsoft's OneNote team has provided an update for its users on iOS 9, with added functionality to complement the rollout of Apple's latest mobile operating system. Along with a handful of additional tools, Microsoft has confirmed that support for the upcoming iPad Pro and Apple Pencil is also available.

The update comes packed with a range of features, including Spotlight search, Split view, and better support for Arabic and Hebrew languages in iOS 9.

Microsoft posted a launch video on YouTube, offering a showreel of the update:

The latest release follows news of a 'universal' OneNote app for iOS last month, further evidence of the note-taking software embedding itself deeper into the Apple ecosystem.
