Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect, people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. that is just too bad that Opera doesn't support iPassword
That was by far my favorite web browser years back when I was on Windows machines. Now I can't live without 1Password on Mac, so I am still hoping..

Opera user since 2007... it had its ups and down, I find it more consistent than FF and Chrome in stability and performance, so much critics about Opera is just because its now userbase.

Now I feel like I'm the jerk. Thanks for trying to help. I'm just frustrated at Opera for this.

I want to like Opera because it has a solid HTML engine. But then it has simple user interface problems, that for odd reasons can't be easily changed, that diminishes its usability as a web browser.

It probably came over different from what you intended - and thanks for having the balls to correct that, appreciated.

Personally, I prefer the speed dial on each empty tab but each to their own and perhaps a request on opera's forums might get you more joy. Best of luck with it anyway

That toolbar button totally useless. I can already add a homepage button to the toolbar.

I use keyboard shortcuts and links to open tabs, not clicking on toolbar buttons.

I want new tabs to go straight to the homepage so that I DON'T have to waste time clicking a button in the toolbar.

Consider me educated, my apologies for trying to help.

CTRL+t and CTRL+space, done...

Here it comes! . I'm glad that they (hopefully as they say... No issues in here) have fixed the horrendous bug, which crashed after having several Tabs opened (generally with Flash in it) after clicking "Close All but Active" or "Close All".

I just hope they've bettered the JS Engine.... It's too damn incompatible in several scenarios

They've added full ECMAScript 5.1 support in opera 11.60, which was the only real complaint about its js engine...

My experience with opera has left me with mixed feelings. In my Win systems it gets outperformed by firefox and chrome. In firefox there are several features added through addons that I cannot live without and that makes it my top choice.
In my linux boxed things are completely different. Opera outperforms any other browser in any way breathing in new life even to my powerless Acer AO751h.

I've pretty much found that I can get all the addons I need in Opera now - have you checked they're aren't equivalents?

I just LOVE Opera!
Best browser out there, for me it's as fast as Chrome (was a Chrome user for over a year, now half a year Opera). Some nice features as well: torrent downloading, Opera Link, Opera Turbo, Opera Unite, .. use them all!

Beyond Godlike said,
Scrolling n stuff is choppier in opera i notice.
If it's one thing Opera is good at, it's scrolling.

I like Opera because it is the underdog in the browser wars and actively use it in order to contribute towards keeping its marketshare alive.

Nice, mostly just fixes... But that's cool - so you don't have to be afraid to break everything when you upgrade.
