Photobie is a complete image editing software customized for photo retouching. Photobie is free to use and to distribute. Unlike other commercial and free image editing softwares, Photobie is more like a homemade cookie, which has much more flavor. Photobie developers intend to build an easy-to-use and feature-packed tool for graphics amateurs. Although, it is not yet a perfect tool for professionals, it does contain many handy tools to help professional to achieve simple task quickly. Photobie also includes many embedded filters and supports many Photoshop filter(.8bf) plugins. In the end, keep in mind that Photobie is a .NET windows application, .NET framework 1.0 or higher is required to be installed in your PC. However, if you are using Windows XP, most likely you already have .NET framework 1.1 installed through windows live update. Please check the installed program list in the "Control Panel".
