The porn company, Wicked Pictures, may have got a bit excited when it sent a copyright takedown notice to Google, although most of the links are to torrent websites with the company's own movies, a few are links to GitHub projects, including ones by Yahoo, Facebook, Netflix and openSUSE.
In a submission to ChillingEffects, Google said it received the takedown notice on 22 December 2014, in which the notice said that "the materials reported in this notice are the copyrighted DVD/videos of Wicked Pictures," however, the notice contains links to GitHub projects.
Most of the 6,576 links listed appear legitimate, linking to either torrent or online steaming websites containing the company's movies, however, 61 GitHub project links look out of place.

It is not known at this stage if Google has removed the links from their search engine or if it has realized the claims are clearly bogus, however, this mistake does highlights major flaws with takedown notices and the potential use against innocent websites.
