Eurogamer has reported that production on the upcoming Carmageddon sequel, developed by Visual Science and published by Eidos, has been halted. At this point it is not clear if the title will be scrapped or handed off to another publisher or developer. According to their sources, production was halted two weeks ago, but no mention of the fact was made by Eidos. The game was linked to Xbox, PS2, and PC releases from financial reports and was due to be released this year.
