The makers of Grand Theft Auto (Rockstar Games) confirmed its debut into the world of filmmaking with the release of Sunday Driver on the UMD Movie format. Sunday Driver is described as an "all-access" documentary film that chronicles the Compton/Watts chapter of California's low-rider car club, The Majestics.
Following a community working together to build the ultimate customised vehicles while struggling to legitimise their lifestyle under the close scrutiny of the authorities, Sunday Driver takes a close look at the men behind the chrome, exposing the origins of the club and explaining what it means to be a Majestic. Early rumours suggest that a game tie-in could appear although this hasn't been officially confirmed by Rockstar.
