Samsung Galaxy Note II coming to Sprint on Oct. 25

Sprint has today announced that Samsung's Galaxy Note II is heading to the network on October 25th. The device will be available on Sprint's 4G LTE with truly unlimited data, texts and calling. You'll have the choice of a Marble White or a Titanium Gray device for $299.99 with a new line or upgrade on a two-year contact.

The Galaxy Note II was announced by Samsung at the end of August, it packs a large 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM memory, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.8-megapixel front-facing camera, a huge 3,100mAh battery, and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The Note II also comes with an improved S-Pen for taking notes, creating content, and Samsung's AirView, which allows users to hover over an image, email or even video to preview the content without having to open it.

Don't buy it. They won't update the software after 6 months. After 6 months, your phone is not worth ****.
The original Galaxy Note is barely new and it's already falling behind to make place for this overpriced piece of ****.

They do update the software after 6 months. AT&T released the original version a year ago and just 2 months ago released the ICS update for it. Almost any of the new smart phones are overpriced but this is not a piece of **** as you stated. The specs on this phone are more powerful then any other phone on the market including the G3.

My Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE still hasn't been updated. And I have no special operator firmware. My tab has the standard Samsung firmware. I've run Kies many times and I've enabled OTA updates and still nothing. Not even any official words from Samsung.
