I download a lot of Linux based ISOs and larger open source files using torrents. There are also some underground bands that release their songs for free using P2P applications. I know a few here in Phoenix do it just to get exposure since they don't have a label yet.

virus... spyware... all that you'll ever want... lol...
just kidding... i think the next thread has the answer (linux, underground music... etc.)

So, what you people download "legally" with this kind of software? :ermm:

For eD2k, there is for example the eMule Content Database ( ) which offers links to material which you are free to download. Feel free to browse around the different categeries.

King of the old, Shareaza was (and still is likely). Been a while!
Torrents have taken over, microT rocks as much as Shareaza ever did.

Unbelievable that 'Raza is still alive Thy were (or are) getting slightly outdated when it comes to eD2k network.

I thought eDonkey was taken down?

The original eDonkey software/client was taken down - that doesnt affect the thousands/millions of emule and other ED2K clients that comprise about 90% of the network still working on hundreds of independent servers

I thought eDonkey was taken down?

Many people are unaware of the fact that in the end, eDonkey2000 clients are/were a small minority in a network that once was theirs.

Nice, Long TIme No See Its been a long time since they have realesed any new updates......Good Luck Guys & Share with good!

u're not suppose to share illegal stuff by any means. be it on the forum, p2p, torrent, etc. theres nothing wrong in promotion the app used such as shareaza. its what u do with it that matters. just my two cent.

why is it you even mention illegal downloading or warez on here and it gets removed or you end up banned and yet they will quite happily promote software to let you do so.

Because P2P networks can be used for legitimate means, not just for software pirating.
