I found this piece of information buried inside the Plus! Digital Media Edition newsgroups. There is apparently an undocumented update to Plus! DME that fixes a slew of problems and annoyances. (My biggest problem was getting the video to play in the DME Tour) The update does fix this annoyance and (apparently) several other problems. The direct download link is definitely a mouthful. Hope this helps out a few other people as well!
