If you visit the boards regularly, you'll know that there has been talk of Neowin 4 (a site redesign) as far back as 2003, but it never came off.
July 2001 is a significant date for Neowin, because in that month we implemented the (basic) current site design that everybody has become accustomed to, and since late 2002, largely due to the immense amount of sites that tried to duplicate (and even sell!) our design, we have had plans for a complete redesign that would become Neowin 4.
