We knew it was coming but Microsoft has officially announced the Surface Power cover that will provide additional battery life to your Surface. The battery comes in the form of a new cover that also has a backlit keyboard.
The device will expand the peripherals for the Surface family and we would expect that this device will be quite popular with consumers as it easily extends the battery life of the device, gives you a firm keyboard and does it all in a relatively small package that is easy to transport.
Microsoft is working to expand the peripheral options for the Surface family. When you look at the new Power Cover and the dock, Microsoft is increasing the attractiveness of the device by turning the tablet that has all the additional extras you need to completely replace a laptop and a tablet.
