You want VOYAGER.
Buy thebat! Pro and download voyager so you can make it run on a stick. (I ain't upgraded to the latest, I still have an older one) This is the best email client I ever used, also I noticed that the crackers for the database won't get past the first password you put on it, it can't decrypt the accounts until after it knows how to even get to em. The Bat Pro installed on a box, and all the email account data can be cracked. So go Voyager I say, even if all you do is keep it on hard disk. Plus you could also encrypt the entire directory, making mail crackers irrelevant. While none of these techniques is perfect, if you are a journalist going through a hostile country (lacking a VPN back to your home computer ala blackberry 10 style) and instead your lugging a laptop or usb stick, this is a damned good choice. Of course if your trying to hide from the NSA, good luck. Personally I worry more about my stuff getting stolen, and exploited by an individual, as opposed to government is locking drones on me. Then again, I'm not a journalist.

I should clarify, you can also use PGP to encrypt messages in thebat! both built in or with plugins, oh yes there are plugins for thebat, also you can set it to read only plain text, and hit F9 to view the source. But the combo of pgp encrypted messages in a client with a password in a directory which is encrypted. Script kiddie Thieves are going to have a bad time here.

Not everyone needs or wants a stand-alone email client, but if you do this is one that you should consider.

Don't put too much stock in the screenshot. Everything can be customized to taste including location of the panels and the toolbar.

Used to use this a long time ago and from what I remember, the image above does not look anything like what I remember. Not that it matters though.

I guess if you're going to pay for an e-mail app, this is a good one.
