Build 24 is being sent to Trillian for Windows testers today. Tweets should be flowing properly again and we continue to work on improving stability and performance throughout the product.

We are also sending out a new version of Trillian 3.1 today, v3.1.15.0, via auto-update. This version should restore connectivity to AIM and MSN. Remember, we’ll be dropping support for Trillian 3 when version 5 goes final.

Update: We found another last-minute bug with Twitter and fixed it in Build 25.

Current users of Trillian 5 can simply exit Trillian and restart it to get the update, new users can follow the links below.

Trillian is shareware, but can be used fully with the exception of video chats (requires Pro version). You are also asked to install the optional Ask toolbar during the install.

I tried it too. But after being a digsby user for so many years, it was hard to warm up to trillian again. Ended up going back to digsby.

last time i used this was a while back but it seemed to be getting a little bloated and when you consider the free alternatives like Pidgin it's even less worth trying stuff like this when it costs $.

You don't need to pay to use Trillian. Try to do a bit of homework before you make judgment calls. By the way, the "period" key is not that difficult to tap every so often, give it a shot.

might try this one, quite a few bugs in the last build i tried.

lol @ changelog.

"Windows 7 close buttons only half-functional (literally, just one half)"

One bug I noticed is the app has problems after a full screen app is closed (Read: game).

Window borders go black and unusable, but minimising to the taskbar fixes it.
