UltimateDefrag 4.0.95.0

It's a hard drive defragmenter but it is no ordinary hard drive defragmenter! It's called UltimateDefrag, and it truly has more positive performance impact than any other software program you will use to speed up your Windows 7, Vista or Windows XP PC.

UltimateDefrag is the Ultimate Defragger and File Placement Optimizer. Defragging hard drives helps to restore your hard drive performance. File placement optimizing on the other hand, boosts your theoretical hard drive file access performance by up to 300% of manufacturers quoted averages (typical performance increase you'll experience is between 25 and 100%) by placing the files you want performance from onto the faster performing (outer tracks) areas of your hard drive. With UltimateDefrag - you can specify which individual files, programs or games you want the best performance from. The "Archive" function places all of your unused files out of the way and onto the slower performing areas of your hard drive.

@Hum. I don't think that is something wrong with the default Windows defragger. My feeling about this one is that the team behind UltimateDefrag can defrag even the space shuttle Discovery hard disk. Check the User Guide (pdf) and you will see what I'm talking about.

What's wrong with the Windows 7 defragger ?

Nothing is wrong with Windows 7 built-in defragger. Infact if you are running Windows 7 or newer there is absolutely no reason at all to use this you will not gain anything at all with it. I have tried this and other defrag software and there was no increase in performance or any decrease in boot time what so ever over what Windows 7 does on its own. It is a complete waist of money and you will gain nothing for it.

No boot time defrag, no zoning, no advanced task/job scheduling options

All things that no one needs. Defragmenting is something that should happen behind the scenes of an and never be seen. Anyone who thinks there is any noticeable performance improvement from using a third party defrag program is delusional. It's called a placebo affect.
