Update for Windows Desktop Search 2.6.5 (KB917979)

Install this update to fix various problems in Windows Desktop Search version 02.06.5000.5378. This hotfix package fixes the following issues:

• Prevents Desktop Search index corruption in roaming user profile environments.
• Lets the Prevent Indexing Certain Paths policy setting include the path root and its hierarchy.
• Changes the Prevent Indexing Certain Paths policy setting so that users cannot add unauthorized paths.
• Changes the Prevent Indexing of Uncached Exchange Folders policy setting so that user settings are retained on removal of this policy.
• Adds the Prevent User Defined Locations policy setting to prevent users from changing indexing target locations in the Windows Desktop Search Indexing Options dialog box.
