Warthog to purchase Zed Two

Think of it as Wolverine: Wetrix's Revenge.

Warthog PLC, the English team currently in development with Activision's X-Men: Wolverine's Revenge and Mace Griffon: Bounty Hunter, announced today it has acquired British development team Zed Two.

Zed Two, generally a small, quiet team that has developed only a few games in the last six years, does indeed have good solid talent. The team created Aqua Aqua (PS2), otherwise known as Wetrix (N64, GBC, PC and Dreamcast), as well as having worked on major licenses such as E.T. The Extraterrestrial for New Kid Co. and Warner Bros' Tasmanian Devil for Infogrames. Zed Two is currently in development with two original games, one an RPG called Pillage for all of the major consoles and a puzzler dubbed Sticky Balls.

Warthog plans to purchase Zed Two for 1.5 million English pounds, a total amount that's dependent on Zed Two's cumulative profits for the three financial periods ending 31 March 2005.
