Wednesday's PC game sales include trucks, dragons and pirates

Hump day has arrived. With the arrival of Wednesday comes a few more daily PC game sales that you might be interested in. Steam continues its daily PC game sales with, of all things, a game about trucks. Big trucks, in fact. From now until 1 pm Eastern time on Thursday you can purchase and download the 2007 released 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul. This trucking simulation on the open roads of the US comes from developer SCS Software and publisher ValuSoft. You can get the game now from Steam for a mere $3.40, a 66 percent price cut.

If playing a game that involves pushing a pedal to the metal and singing the theme to "Smokey and the Bandit" doesn't appeal to you perhaps a more recent fantasy RPG might be to your liking. Direct2Drive is now selling the recently released and critically acclaimed PC version of Dragon Age 2 at a special one day price for today only. The latest game from developer BioWare may have just come out last March but for today only you can download the game right now from Direct2Drive for $29.98. That's a 50 percent price cut from its normal price of $59.95.

Finally the latest daily PC game sales deal comes from Impulse. The site, now owned by the GameStop retail game store company, has a one day sale on the historical strategy game Tortuga: Pirates of the New World. You can get the game right now from Impulse for a mere $4.99, a 75 percent price cut.
