I would love to see the download stats for these latest releases since the announcement compared to previous ones.

the rumor going on about microsoft taking winamp in made me think about skype - they bought it and pretty much what they did was update its interface to look flat, like the rest of their products

so i suspect the same fate will fall upon winamp as well

It can have any interface imaginable. Derrr.
Windows Media Player has,t really changed in default looks ever since it came out either.
Nothing can beat the endless possibilities of Winamp.

Just about every thing beats those endless possibilities of Winamp mainly because no one uses it anymore.

This is another one of those products that I can't believe are still around, but at least it was never as bloated as some of those other products!

This is supposedly the last version that will be released by Nullsoft/AOL.

The Winamp 5.7 Beta posted earlier primarily for the Winamp Cloud service has been abandoned.

Hello,

Som said,
it's amazing how it still has the same interface after all these years ...

Yup. Just to show you how a good thing works for years

No need to change it but it also comes with various skins and custom skins change the design very much if you wish.
