Windows 10 for Phones: How to send feedback

Earlier today, Microsoft released a technical preview of Windows 10 for phones and one thing to keep in mind if you run into an issue with the OS, is that you need to send this information back to Microsoft. Seeing that this is a new OS, here is how you can let Microsoft know about bugs in the platform.

The easiest way to send feedback to Microsoft is using the hardware keys to launch the app. By pressing the power key and volume down button at the same time, this will launch the Windows Feedback app. The benefit of doing it this way is that it will open the app directly to the focal area of the app where you launched Windows Feedback from.

What we mean is that if you are using the Windows Store app and press the feedback button combination, it will open up the app directly to the Windows Store section. It's a simple trick to make it easier for you to look at relevant feedback content or submit your own if needed.

The other way to submit feedback is to launch the Windows Feedback app from the Settings list.

As with the desktop component of Windows 10, feedback is critical for the mobile OS too. If there is something you don't like or wish a feature would be tweaked, this is the best way to reach out to the team that is building the OS.
