Windows 8 software and hardware Cyber Monday 2012 deals

Black Friday 2012 is now over, but with most Americans going back to work this week, their big shopping day is happening today. It's Cyber Monday, the day online retail website take advantage of the fact that lots of folks still want to get one last deal online to meet their holiday shopping demands.

Cyber Monday, while a relatively new phenomenon, has turned out to be the single biggest online shopping day of the year, and most analysts believe this year will be the biggest Cyber Monday ever. HP Envy Touch Screen Ultrabook – Best Buy is selling this 14-inch touchscreen laptop with Windows 8 for $549.99 today, a $250 price reduction. It has an Intel Core i3 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive.

Star Chart for Windows 8 – This impressive astronomy app for Windows 8 is now on sale in the Windows Store for just $1.49, well off its normal price of $5.99. It also recently received a big upgrade which allows users to explore all of the planets and moons of the Solar System.

/sigh. Not being in America makes me sad sometimes =P A full Win8 tablet for $400...pretty hard to fault =P (even if it is acer...)
