Windows 8.1 build 9483 has leaked

A pre-RTM build of Windows 8.1 has leaked but with RTM bits now floating around, it's only a matter of time before an English version of Windows 8.1 RTM becomes available.

Unless you are a keeper of all things leaked, there is little reason to download the latest leak of Windows 8.1, build 9483. The build is a pre-RTM release of the platform and with expectations set that we will see a leak of the English RTM version possibly as soon as today, 9483 offers little to the average leak enthusiasts.

Additionally, the build is from China which means that it will take some work to get it into a state that is useable for those of us who only speak English.

Windows 8.1 hit RTM only a few days ago and while Microsoft has been holding the final bits back from developers via its MSDN/Technet channels, the English version of the platform has yet to leak.

As with any leaked software, you will be installing the software at your own risk and since the bits come from unofficial channels, they could be modified without prior knowledge.

You mean a couple of hours. It's looking like the en-US 8.1 Pro RTM leaked and it's being downloaded on MDL. Waiting on confirmation.
