Windows Live for mobile updated

Windows Live blog has announced the availability of the new updated Windows Live for mobile. Go to new Windows Live for mobile website from your mobile phone's web browser and you can instantly start using the new services.

The new and updated mobile web services include Windows Live Home, Photos, Profile, People, and Spaces. These complement the existing mobile services, like Hotmail and Messenger. With this release, the Live platform is extending even more of Windows Live to mobile devices, but with a mobile twist. To get started, all you need is a phone with a browser and a data plan. Using these services doesn't require a download, all you do is go to the new Windows Live website and you can simply start using the new Windows Live services for mobile.

The Windows Live Mobile website can also be browsed from your computer and is a great place to learn more about all the great mobile services. In addition, you can:

  • Get a preview of what the mobile experience looks like for you
  • Attach your phone number to your Windows Live ID, so you can start using Windows Live SMS services
