Windows Media Player 11 Beta to be released Wednesday
According to news.com, Microsoft will be releasing a beta version of the next edition of Windows Media Player - Version 11.
WMP11 which leaked online last week, prompted many screenshots and early reviews and is expected to be launched alongside MTVs Urge service. Urge is a co-developement between Microsoft and MTV and will be merged into WMP11 to allow fast searching and better ways to handle large collections of music.
Windows Media Player 11 is likely to be released today if news.com is correct. However, other reports (AP) have cited 17th May as the release date for URGE.
Update: News.com have editted their story, they're now quoting Wednesday as the expected release date.
