What do you mean? It should work just fine. R2 is essentially SP1 with extra crap on top, so now you'll have SP2 with extra crap on top.

I was just wondering whether there was going to be a R2 SP2

The x64 version has a digital signature but it seems that maybe MS forgot to digitally sign the 32-bit version. It's clearly not beta or RC and it's no big deal since it's straight from MS but just something I thought a little strange.

32bit is 372mb, it is final, it would say its RC on the ms page for the 32bit if it was and installer didnt say RC when i ran it.

very nice release!

Wow didn't expect this. I know what I will be doing with my time at work then.

*Edit*

Getting a 404 on the Win32 Version.

*Edit*

Working now.

Isn't this an RC though? SANS is reporting it as an RC

Microsoft published a release candidate for Server 2003 SP2 today."

I don't think so. The release candidate was put out back in November, and this appears to be the final version. I'm going to wait until Microsoft updates its website before downloading it, though.

It already came down to our WSUS servers so its a RTM build
