Facebook has been the source of several incidents before; thousands of people attending a house party, numerous relationship breakups but how about someone getting 152 tattoos of Facebook profile pictures of their friends. The woman, apparently from the Netherlands, said that she wanted a very modern type of tattoo that shows off her Facebook friends.
One has to question what she'll do when her friends change their profile pictures or they unfriend her? On the video description she says "These are not all my friends. Just the people I care most about. I got their permission and they were very proud to be on it. To me it represents who I am right now and the time we live in. And of course I love the looks of it."
This isn't the first time though in which we've seen Facebook inspired imagery being placed onto peoples' bodies. Observations have been made in the past of musician T-Pain receiving a tattoo in regards to the like feature.
One has to ask the question though, as to when an idea is taken too far? We've seen numerous shocking and hilarious internet stories of the past few years, ranging from the roleplay game Second Life to a video site such as YouTube. We will no doubt be seeing further more extreme stories of humans pushing potential taboos, but what they will be is yet to be discovered.
Update: It turns out this was all just a publicity stunt, Michel Wester of Websonic.nl contacted us to let us know that the tattoo was in-fact ...wash off ink! English Source: CNN
