WordPress 3.5 is available for download

WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. WordPress was born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system built on PHP and MySQL and licensed under the GPLv2 (or later). It is the official successor of b2/cafelog. WordPress is fresh software, but its roots and development go back to 2001. It is a mature and stable product.

What's new in WordPress 3.5:

If you’ve been around WordPress a while, the most dramatic new change you’ll notice is a completely re-imagined flow for uploading photos and creating galleries. WordPress 3.5 includes a new default theme, Twenty Twelve, which has a very clean mobile-first responsive design and works fantastic as a base for a CMS site. Finally a lot of time was spent refreshing the styles of the dashboard, updating everything to be Retina-ready with beautiful high resolution graphics, a new color picker, and streamlining a couple of fewer-used sections of the admin.

Download WordPress 3.5, check the blog announcement or read the complete changelog.

I'd stay more up to date if I didn't have to worry about every update breaking something.

There have been too many times where I've updated only to be presented with a blank site or pages filled with errors since some API changed or other functionality was altered in just a simple 0.0.1 update.

I can say the only time I've ever had anything break was when my pos web hoster timed out in the middle of an update. Other than that, I've never seen any breaking changes that weren't mentioned ahead of time before the update. Not sure how your install is set up, but there's a problem if it breaks for you on every update.
