'Work Item Studio' will allow Android users to work on projects on 'Visual Studio Online'

Although Windows Phone users have had access to 'Work Item Studio' for quite some time, Android users will now finally have access to the app thanks to the efforts of Microsoft's 'Garage' team.

'Work Item Studio' is a mobile app that allows 'Visual Studio Online' users a way to create, edit and view work items from the service. Much like the Windows Phone counterpart, Android users will also have access to a list of all queries, the number of results in each, and other tools.

If you are unfamiliar with Visual Studio Online, it is a service that provides developers with the ability to code and track work. The service also includes the ability to work as a community by providing cloud services. If you are a small team, you can take advantage of the service as a five-user account is free. If you have the need to support a larger team, you can check out pricing on the Visual Studio website.

'Work Items Studio' is now available for Android via the Google Play Store.
