Xbox One: Provide your email address, get $10 at Microsoft Store

The Internet is all abuzz about the new Xbox One console, which is due out "later this year". While everyone's been discussing the merits of the latest Microsoft device, the company's store put up a graphic of the Xbox One and is giving everyone who registers their email address a $10 credit for a future purchase. That's all there is to it; there's no registration, no forms to fill out, just a single box to type your email address into.

Unfortunately, our non-North American readers are once again left out in the cold. The fine print states that the credit must be used on "a transaction for an item over $10.00 MSRP only at Microsoft online stores in US (including Puerto Rico) and Canada." In the UK, the Microsoft Store website is only offering Panda Internet Security 2013 for free with the purchase of Microsoft Office - hardly an enticing deal - with no mention of the new Xbox yet.

The $10 promotional credit must be used on the site by June 9th, so that means you won't be able to use the credit for the new Xbox One, but free money is free money.
