Strike Suit Zero, Crimson Dragon and Motocross Madness now free with Xbox Live Gold

It’s the start of a new month so that means a free game for Xbox Live users. Right now you can fire up your console and download three free, albeit older, games through the Games with Gold program.

If you’re an Xbox One user you’ll be happy to know Strike Suit Zero is now available for download. Though the game was born from a Kickstarter campaign it looks pretty great and will definitely appeal to some of you.

While playing it you take on the role of a fighter pilot in space testing an experimental ship. The game looks to be loads of fun and reminds us of a simpler time when AI fish and perfectly rendered attack dogs weren’t the things devs showed off.

Crimson Dragon is also available for free on the Xbox One and you can download it right now. In it you're a dragon fighting your enemies. Can't say much more than that but it should offer a few hours of gameplay if you're into the fantasy scene.

Moving on to the Xbox 360, you’ll now be able to download Motocross Madness. It’s a classic dirt-track racing game. It’s not the greatest of games out there but you’ll be getting something much nicer, really soon.

All three of these games are available to download now but if neither is to your liking don’t despair just yet. On August 15th another game becomes available: the award-winning Dishonored for Xbox 360 users. And don’t forget, the Xbox One will also get a nice system update in the next few days.

You can pick up your free games here and here (Xbox One) and here (Xbox 360)

Editor's Note: This article was updated to reflect that Crimson Dragon is also currently available for free on the Xbox One. A previous version of the article had stated that game would become available on August 15th.
