God!! this flash plugin has crashed so many times in Firefox. Still waiting for the day the www goes flashless.

Then don't use Firefox if Firefox is too lazy to fix up their NPAPI implementation.

I have had no issues with flash on 32bit machines, but man, do the last 2 versions of this thing crash Firefox like there's no tomorrow on 64bit machines!

I have a couple topics floating around in other forums, about this POS crashing Firefox and takes Seamonkey with as it corrupts the user profile in Mozilla/Firefox.

I KNOW this thing has always been a total POS and I generally don't use and can't stand Firefox, but the Ubuntu people are so stupid, they made it the default browser.

I know I can uninstall Firefox from Ubuntu, but why? It's one of a very limited selection of developed browsers there is for Linux. Still confused as to why the Linux world doesn't FULLY develop one of their own browsers, like Epiphany, and make it default?

Basically,
Flash player has rendered my 64bit Linux installs totally useless, unless I use Opera or Chromium (which I totally can not stand) or one of those undeveloped Linux browsers.

The current version showing up on the Adobe site for me is Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.15 and I'm in Windows right now even!! Did they revert back to an older version, or what?

Since I cannot edit...

... use the EXEs, it seems the MSIs are just for WSUS distributions, since they include the same EXEs as the ones distributed on the website... the EXEs are smaller (size).

i suspect Flash v11.2 will be out of BETA soon as the one they released not to long ago they said will be the last beta before it goes final.

11.2.202.197 ... that's what i am on now but it's a beta.

True, I wonder whether they're waiting to announce it with something else given that Beta 5 was apparently the last beta they would release before RTW. What frustrates me is that it has taken till 2012 to finally make the changes that should have been in the plugin from at least 5 years ago such as multithreaded video decoding etc.
