Adobe Reader for Windows 10.0.1

Adobe Reader is the global standard for reliably viewing, printing, and commenting on PDF documents. It's the only PDF file viewer that can open and interact with all types of PDF content, including forms and multimedia.

Change log:

  • Reader is now compatible with McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7.0i.
  • PDF files in a shared location can be opened in a distributed file system.

Again, NO ONE CARES! Why do you idiots feel you need to post this crap? What does it have to do with a supposed update to Adobe Reader?

+1
Why they feel the need to proclaim that they're not using the software being discussed is beyond me. I couldn't give a flying hoot what PDF reader you use.

I think it's helpful to be alerted to the existence of useful alternatives, with an indication that they do a decent job and are worth considering.

Yeah, Neowin and Betanews both messed this one up. The update is clearly for Acrobat, not Reader, as Adobe even stated that they wouldn't release an update for Reader until the next quarterly update.

Can Neowin actually CHECK the download FIRST before posting next time?

It would be nice to see Microsoft come up with a PDF reader similar to "Preview" in OS X. I like the idea that I don't have to contend with Reader on the Mac.

May be in "8."

I hope they do that too, a universal preview app but I hope they don't simply integrate it into windows photo viewer, I hope they make a new app for this purpose.

Clicked on download link and was taken to the download of 10.0.1. Nothing related to the download mentioned. What does this actually update? I downloaded a patch from Download.com and was told that the patch could not be installed using the regular method. How does this patch get installed and how is it done?

Nobody cares. Why did you feel you needed to post at all?

First, for you
Second: Could you try learn a book with it and sign rows?
About a few hundred it is becoming terribly slow in pdf loading, and also changing pages. Take about a 10 minutes where it is ready to reading, until you want to take another sign...
