AppRemover 3.0

The free AppRemover utility enables the thorough uninstallation of security applications like antivirus and antispyware from your computer. Simply, cleanly and effectively. AppRemover enables users to remove antivirus, antispyware and other security applications, as well as left over files remaining from incomplete uninstallations. There's no more need to mess around with your registry entries left behind after a partial uninstall. AppRemover offers support for many popular antivirus/antispyware products: avast!, AVG, Avira, BullGuard, Computer Associates, Eset, F-Secure, IObit, Kaspersky, Lavasoft, Malwarebytes, McAfee, Microsoft, Panda, PC Tools, SOFTWIN, Symantec, Trend Micro and more.

Use AppRemover:

  • When replacing one security application with another
  • When competing security applications tie up your computer
  • When the application's built-in uninstall process fails
  • When you have forgotten the application password
  • When you want to remove a public file sharing application

What's sad, is programs like this need to exist. I wish companies could/would provide thorough uninstallers with the application.

This AppRemover 3.0 "Includes the OPSWAT Security Toolbar (optional")
Removed (I mean will no longer use) AppRemover.
Fed up up up and higher with included toolbars, optional or not.

Yeah, and if installed, you'd probably need some othe app remover to remove AppRemover and the toolbar, etc. etc. that was installed.

I use Revo Uninstaller. It's the first thing I install when someone ask me to clean up their laptop, along with CCleaner.
