it cost money for bloat? wow

opps, i forgot vista is the same :p

Oh, a crack at Vista. How clever.

Astonshell used to be really good in its time. This looks like rubbish, can't believe it took soo long to make it.

Oh my god. Those menu examples are enormous. What were they thinking? Is running in 1920x1200 a system requirement? :p

And a price tag on that? Why, oh why?

Jesus Christ, guys, what's wrong with all of you? Instead of welcoming diversification you seem to take pleasure in shooting it down at first sight. Did any of you even TRY the software? You seem to want to be left with no choice but what Microsoft shoves down your throats.

I'm sure Aston 2 Menu is skinnable, so what if those samples in the screenshot are large? You can always make your own, more compact and to your liking, skins for Aston 2 Menu. Dah!

Most of us judge software by the screenshots before trying it. If you look at the current trends - software is getting nicer, sleeker, more compact, etc. Those screenshots look like something out of a bordello with all of the tackiness and hugeness all over the place.

I was always taught never to judge a book by its cover, and for very good reasons! :P If you haven't tried the software AND you have nothing good to say, it's always better (and wiser) to keep your mouth shut before shooting something down just because you can. Unfortunately the later seems to be the trend here.

Negative comments comming from people who act like they've actually tried the software (when, in fact, they know nothing about what they're talking about), end up having more influence over potential customers than a bad screenshot.

And no, before you ask, I'm not affiliated to Aston/Gladiators. :P

If any of that was directed at me, I "have" tried several builds of it, but I never came to like it enough to keep it installed.
