It wasn't that long ago that Casio debuted its $500 rugged Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch with mapping capabilities, the Pro Trek Smart WSD-F20. Now, the firm is set to introduce a new limited edition variant of the watch, the Pro Trek WSD-F20S.
Since this will be a limited edition model, only 500 units of the watch will be produced. The Pro Trek WSD-F20S will offer all the great features of the original like its dual-layer display and MIL-STD-810G standard, but will also come with a sapphire crystal display and ion plating. Both of these attributes should further increase the watches durability. Furthermore, the smartwatch will be offered in a different color scheme, based on the black model but with new bright blue accents.
Unfortunately, the WSD-F20S doesn't have a firm release date or price. But it will be formally unveiled later this week at Baselworld, a watch and jewelry show that takes place in Switzerland.
